Q: Do I need to have teaching experience to apply?
A: Some experience is helpful, but you don’t need to have it all figured out. If you feel confident holding a class and are ready to grow, you’re welcome to apply.
Q: Do I need to bring my own students?
A: Not necessarily. Some instructors come in with a following, others build one here. We support you through our platform and community, and your own promotion will help your class grow over time.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: You’re paid per person who attends your class. You’ll receive $12 per drop in and $3 for each member who attends. Payments are tracked through our system so everything stays organized.
Q: What does the collective membership cost?
A: The instructor membership includes your weekly class slot, full access to Ixora classes, and access to the recovery room.
Q: Can I teach more than one class per week?
A: Possibly. Once you’re established and if space allows, we can look at adding additional classes.
Q: What if no one shows up to my class?
A: It happens sometimes, especially in the beginning. Building a class takes consistency. We encourage you to stay committed and continue promoting. Most classes grow over time.
Q: Do I have to promote my classes?
A: Yes. We’ll support you and feature you, but your voice matters. The instructors who grow the most are the ones who share their work regularly.
Q: What’s included besides teaching?
A: You’ll have unlimited access to classes and the recovery room, plus the opportunity to be part of a community of instructors and facilitators growing together.
Q: Can I still offer sessions or teach elsewhere?
A: Yes. You’re building your own business within Ixora. There’s no restriction on working elsewhere.
Q: What makes Ixora different from renting space somewhere else?
